Steak with Black Garlic
Ingredients
-
1 tbsp oil
-
3 eye fillet steaks (or any cut of your liking)
-
1 tbsp salted butter
-
1 sprig of rosemary
-
4 large cloves of black garlic, chopped into small chunks
Method
-
In a thin based pan, heat up your oil on high temperature. Sear each of the steaks separately until they get a nice crust on each side, about 5 minutes. Make sure to stand the steak up on the side to sear the edges as well.
-
Once seared transfer the steaks into a large heavy based pan and place over medium heat. Add your butter, Black Garlic and rosemary, and then with a spoon, baste the steaks with the melted butter mixture. Continue to do this until the butter has browned, and the steak has cooked. Cooking time will vary depending on how thick your steak is.

Cover with tin foil and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
