How are the Pearls made?
We use only 100% Australian grown fruit for our Pearls. The fruit is pureed and then formed into spheres that have a fine gel coating with a liquid center through a process called reverse spherification. Each Pearl is made by hand ensuring size and quality, and so each Pearl has that iconic *pop*
Why isn't my Pearl floating?
The Pearls will only float when put into a carbonated drink. The Pearls absorb some of the bubbles, which is what allows them to float to the top. We recommend putting them drinks such as is champagne, prosecco, soda or tonic. The Pearls will still taste fantastic in non-carbonated drinks, they will just sit at the bottom.
How many Pearls should I put in my drink? How long until they rise?
How should I store the products once opened?
We recommend only putting one Pearl in each drink given they can sometimes prematurely pop each other when the glass is crowded. Carefully place your Pearl into a full glass of bubbles and it will originally sink to the bottom. This is normal! The pearl will take a minute to absorb the bubbles and float to the top.
We recommend placing all opened products in their original air tight containers in the fridge to keep freshness. Always check the label for Best Before dates and recommended uses once opened.
